RSI provided a turnkey concrete package from foundation through rooftop for Phase 2B of the new student housing project at the University of Miami in Coral Gables.
The new housing provides two towers, one 10 floors and the other 11 of student resident space. The new towers are part of a multiyear, multiphase plan for Centennial Village on the U of M campus.
RSI poured 20,930 cubic yards of concrete, used 1,502 tons of rebar and 502,000 pounds of post-tensioning.
RSI worked closely with the general contractor, Coastal Construction, to finish the concrete portion of this exciting new project four weeks ahead of schedule, in 28 weeks instead of 32 weeks as scheduled.
