News » RSI awarded Edgewater Beach Resort on Treasure Island

RSI will provide all the concrete work for the 6-story post-tensioned structural deck system for the new Edgewater Beach Resort on Treasure Island.

The overall building size will be approximately 180,000 square feet, with about 150,000 square feet of structural, post-tensioned desks.

The Edgewater will offer 77 upscale suites with an outdoor swimming pool and an on-site restaurant at the location previously occupied by the old Buccaneer Motel, just north of the Thunderbird Resort on Gulf Boulevard.

The concrete work will take 6 months to complete, and RSI will work closely with Moss & Associates, the general contractor of the project, to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
